1950's Revival Bathroom

The bathroom remodel required a complete renovation due to its original condition. While the layout remained largely unchanged, every finish was overhauled. The client wanted to keep the original 1950s pink sink and bathtub, so we incorporated them into the new design. We selected pink wall tiles in various shades to complement these reclaimed fixtures. To keep the floor low-maintenance and reduce grout lines, we used large porcelain slabs. Rosa Aurora marble, with its pink tones, was chosen for the vanity top, shampoo niche, and accent wall behind the tub. We also added much-needed open shelving.

By bumping out a wall to conceal an in-wall tank for the toilet, we created a long ledge for extra storage. Chrome and black metal fixtures were selected to add depth and interest to the design. The existing radiator was relocated to the wall and concealed with a custom grille. Additionally, a towel warmer was installed in the bathroom niche above it. This newly renovated bathroom is designed to be enjoyed for many years to come.
